The days continue to melt away before pitchers and catchers report to spring training. I'm actually counting down the hours now as I try to get my life in order before turning it upside down.

I wrote previously that the Orioles had filled one of their four scheduled off days on March 29 with an exhibition game against a local college. They will play the State College of Florida at 2:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium.
The Orioles' last four games will be held in Sarasota, including back-to-back 7:05 p.m. starts against the New York Yankees on March 27 and the Tampa Bay Rays on March 28. They close against the New York Mets on March 30 at 12:05 p.m.
The Mets actually requested the game.
After that, we load up our rental cars and head to St. Petersburg, Fla., for workouts and the season opener against the Rays at Tropicana Field.
Shameless plug alert: I'm joining Tom Davis for "Wall to Wall Baseball" from 11 a.m.-noon on MASN. I'm calling into Anita Marks' show on NBC Sports Radio at 1 p.m. to talk Orioles. And I'm joining Jim Hunter on "Hot Stove Baseball" from 1:30-3 p.m. on WBAL Radio. Our guests include executive vice president Dan Duquette and first baseman Chris Davis.
Then I'm disappearing for the rest of the day and night.
