CareFirst Fan Challenge winner to face off against Scherzer at Nats Winterfest

Back in the dog days of summer, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield asked fans to challenge Nationals ace Max Scherzer to anything!

Submissions for #IChallengeMax began pouring in to our Twitter account, ranging from cooking competitions to karaoke.

And when it was all said and done, Scherzer selected to battle Nats fan Trey in a classic tailgate game ... cornhole!

Best of all, we're giving all Nats fans who are in attendance at Winterfest on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center the chance to watch!

Now, based on what we know about Scherzer, we really doubt he'll take it easy on the CareFirst Fan Challenge winner! No word if he'll stomp around the cornhole board each time he scores.
