As if there hasn't been enough drama already today, there's still another ballgame to be played in Philadelphia!
The Nationals and Phillies face off one more time, with another scheduled seven-inning game. And with a big line of thunderstorms bearing down on the area at some point later this afternoon, it may be a good thing the game is only scheduled for seven innings.
Patrick Corbin gets the start, one day after he was originally supposed to pitch. The left-hander may be hours away from becoming the Nats' de facto No. 1 starter, even if he hasn't pitched like one this season. No matter what else happens the rest of this year, a strong finish by Corbin would be quite big for him and the club.
The lineup has a few changes from the opener, including the return of Tres Barrera. Though he officially was optioned to Triple-A Rochester last night, Barrera was called back up to serve as the 27th man for the doubleheader game, so he's in the lineup catching Corbin this afternoon.
