Game 79 lineups: Nats at Marlins

MIAMI - The last time Patrick Corbin faced the Marlins ... well, he put forth his best performance of the season. Corbin shut out Miami on 116 pitches May 25 in D.C., a four-hitter that served as the high point for his debut season with the Nationals. It was followed, of course, by three straight subpar outings, which prompted some concern about the left-hander. Until he bounced back in a big way last week against the Phillies, allowing one run and four hits over seven innings.

So Corbin should be feeling good about himself when he takes the mound tonight at Marlins Park looking to keep the ball rolling in a positive direction. The lefty will be attempting to lead the Nationals to their 20th win in 29 games and get them back to the precipice of the .500 mark heading into Thursday's series finale.

robles-victor-bunting-gray-sidebar.jpgThe Nats lineup features on wrinkle: Victor Robles is batting sixth for only the third time this year. And it's not because of injuries to anyone else in the lineup. We'll find out shortly what prompted Davey Martinez to try out this new look against Zac Gallen, a rookie right-hander making only his second career start.
