Saturday is just a few days away, and it's officially the week of NatsFest! The event will be held at a new location this year, but Nationals fans can still expect to be treated to question-and-answer sessions with players, photo sessions with your favorite Nats, live demonstrations, games and more.
From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., (season ticket holders get in an hour early at 10 a.m.,) the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center will host fans, manager Matt Williams and a variety of players, including Jerry Blevins, Tyler Clippard, Ross Detwiler, Danny Espinosa, Doug Fister, Gio Gonzalez, Scott Hairston, Bryce Harper, Ryan Mattheus, Tyler Moore, Ross Ohlendorf, Anthony Rendon, Tanner Roark, Sammy Solis, Steven Souza Jr., Denard Span, Craig Stammen, Drew Storen, Stephen Strasburg, Zach Walters and Jayson Werth.
Gonzalez, Span and Storen - along with MASN analyst F.P. Santangelo - will join the MASN booth to take pictures with fans throughout the day. Our staff will also be hosting trivia games and giving away some great prizes at the MASN booth, which you can see from our Vine video.
NatsFest is offering fun activities for fans of all ages, from a special Jr. Nats Kids area featuring player story times and kids press conferences to demonstrations from Youth Baseball Academy and Nationals Summer Camps instructors and a Big League Lounge for fans 21 and older.
Tickets for NatsFest are still on sale. Tickets purchased in advance cost $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, with prices increasing to $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under the day of the event. Season plan holders will receive $5 off the entry fee when tickets are purchased in advance ($15 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under) or on the day of the event ($20 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under).
