Nationals seek 2014 in-game host

The Nationals are looking for an energetic and engaging individual with a background in broadcasting, someone who will strive to enhance the ballpark experience for fans at Nationals Park in a fun, creative and clever way. He or she must be comfortable in front of the camera, and be able to commit to all 81 home games while maintaining a flexible schedule throughout the season for events associated with the team and its partners. Beginning today, aspiring hosts are invited to showcase their talents by submitting an online application to www.teamworkonline.com. Candidates have until Wednesday, December 4, to submit their applications, which must include a cover letter, resume and sample of work as a video or YouTube link. To be eligible, applicants must fulfill the following requirements: * Must be at least 21 years old * Have extensive on-camera experience as a host or emcee in various capacities * Be able to move around the ballpark to meet activation obligations * Be knowledgeable about baseball and the Nationals organization * Possess strong time management and communication skills Once applications are received, applicants will be contacted with further instructions before auditions in December.
