Nationals seeking new in-game video host

If you've ever stared up at the giant video board at Nationals Park during a game, seen the in-game video host running a contest or trying to engage fans and thought, "Gee, I could do that," the Nationals may want to talk to you. The Nats are commencing a casting call for a new in-game video host and, providing you have an effusive personality, have performed in front of large crowds, have on-air experience and possess a knowledge of both baseball and the Nationals, your dream could come true. Mind you, there are other qualifications if you want to be the new version of former host Clint. You've got to be passionate about creating a better fan experience at the ballpark on South Capitol Street. A background in broadcasting would be helpful. You need to be willing to commit to all 81 home games (plus playoffs) while having a flexible enough schedule to accommodate other team-related appearances and activities. In addition, applicants must be at least 21, be able to move freely around the ballpark to various locations, and possess strong management and communications skills. Beginning today, aspiring hosts are invited to submit an online application to www.teamworkonline.com. Candidates have until Wednesday, Dec. 4, to submit their applications, which must include a cover letter, resume and sample of work as a video or YouTube link. Once applications have been received, potential in-game hosts will be contact to schedule an audition. ,
