There is still time to sign up for the Nats baseball clinic for women on Saturday, June 19th.
Ladies, I speak from experience -- this is a can't-miss event. If you want to learn a little more about the game, ask coaches some questions, run around on the grass at Nationals Park and meet some fellow female fans, you really want to sign up for Nats U.
Tickets are $50 -- but they include the clinic and an outfield ticket to the evening game against the White Sox.
The event begins at 8 a.m. with continental breakfast and mimosas available for purchase. Throughout the morning, the ladies will work with coaches on the field to learn baseball fundamentals in both beginner and advanced groups. There will also be a speaker presentation.
Participants will receive a Nats U t-shirt, a group photograph and a certificate of completion.
Registration will take place at the Media/Suite Entrance on the corner of Potomac Avenue and South Capitol Street. Bring a glove and/or bat if you have them.
You can learn more about Nats U or sign-up to participate at nationals.com/natsu.
