Billy Butler is again a Royal pain for O's pitchers

The Kansas City batters did not give Wei-Yin Chen the Royal treatment in the first inning tonight. Maybe it was the rude treatment. Alex Gordon led off the game with a solo homer and, three batters later, Billy Butler hit a three-run shot to left and it was 4-0 before some fans had settled into their seats. KC added two in the third and has scored one in the fifth as Chen has been knocked out this inning and the Orioles trail 7-0. Butler always seems to treat O's pitchers rudely and Brad Bergesen isn't even here anymore. He followed up his homer with a double in the third and just tripled in the fifth. The guy needs only a single to hit for the cycle. The last Royal to hit for the cycle was George Brett in 1990. Butler is now 11-for-22 this year against O's pitching with three homers and five RBIs. He entered this game a career .329 batter against Baltimore. The Orioles have come from five runs down twice in the last week and a half to win against the Yankees and Mariners but they'll have to come from seven down tonight. Chen had given up six runs total over his last four starts and allowed six tonight in the first 2 2/3 and seven over 4 2/3. The Orioles are trying for their first six-game win streak since August 22-28, 2011 but it may be hard to get that mark tonight.
