Bundy and Gausman on display tonight

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Orioles will be playing under the lights again. They love the night life, they've got to boogie. It's worth the trek to Fort Myers to watch Dylan Bundy and Kevin Gausman pitch against the Boston Red Sox. This will be the first time they've appeared in the same game this spring. Gausman has been a day behind. Manager Buck Showalter decided to give Bundy the start. He asked reporters for their opinions before making the announcement, mostly out of curiosity. We can't influence him. We pretty much agreed that Bundy made the most sense, since he got to the majors first, but there wasn't a wrong answer. It's just going to be cool seeing them throw back-to-back against the Red Sox's regulars. Bundy and Gausman sat next to each other in the clubhouse yesterday, joking with reporters who stood near them. They weren't at their usual lockers. Normally, they're separated by a few teammates and the entrance to the players' dining area, so it was interesting to see them side by side. Maybe they were preparing for tonight. Both pitchers could begin the season at Double-A Bowie. Both could be in the majors later this summer. The door has been left open for them. They'll ride the bus together to Fort Myers this afternoon. Zach Clark, Mike Belfiore, Todd Redmond and T.J. McFarland also are scheduled to pitch. The Red Sox will throw Felix Doubront, Terry Doyle, Joel Hanrahan and Andrew Miller. Manny Machado will make the trip after missing Bradenton last night. Showalter wants him facing Doubront. Otherwise, you may have trouble finding a "regular" in the lineup.
