Double-A Harrisburg roster features Giolito and Lopez; Syracuse postpones opening series (updated)

The Double-A Harrisburg Senators announced their 2016 roster highlighted by No. 1 Nationals prospect right-hander Lucas Giolito.

The starting rotation to begin the season is all right-handers: Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, Tyler Mapes, John Simms and Austen Williams.

The roster also includes seven top 30 prospects according to Baseball America: Giolito, Lopez, Rafael Bautista, Williams, Abel de los Santos, Chris Bostick and Nick Lee.

* The Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs have announced that their first four games of the season have been postponed due to "unsafe playing conditions at caused by inclement weather," in a statement released by the team.

Their first game of the season will now be Monday, April 11 against Buffalo. The four games against Lehigh will be made up at a later date.

Update: The Chiefs announced they will play a morning doubleheader Friday in Allentown, Pa., against the IronPigs. It is not open to the public. The other two games will be made up at a later date.
