Game 87 lineups: Nats vs. Marlins

The Nationals look to get on a roll after their best comeback of the season Thursday in the series opener against the Marlins. Down 9-0, they roared back for a 14-12 win thanks to Trea Turner's two homers, including a grand slam, and a career-high eight RBIs.

Gonzalez-Delivers-White-Side-Sidebar.jpgLeft-hander Gio Gonzalez (6-5, 3.77 ERA) looks to put together a quality start after going four innings in his last outing and then watching as it all fell apart in the fifth. Leading 3-0 at Philadelphia, he allowed three runs in the fifth inning on July 1. Walks have been an issue recently, Gonzalez having allowed nine free passes in his last two starts. His last win was May 28 at Baltimore.

Gonzalez has a 1.85 ERA in 15 career starts against the Marlins, which is fourth-best among active starters against a single opponent.

Right-hander Dan Straily (3-4, 4.70) counters for the Marlins. He went seven innings in a hard-luck loss to the Mets on July 1, allowing only three runs on five hits and striking out seven. He is 0-1 with a 4.03 ERA in five career starts against the Nats, with just 15 strikeouts in 29 innings. His ERA balloons to 5.63 at Nats Park in three lifetime starts.
