Game set to start at 8:15 p.m. (updated)

The tarp is off the field, but not entirely. It's been folded back to the outfield grass. The mound and home plate remain covered. We're told that the game will start at 8:15 p.m. It will probably be delayed again. The forecast is awful. Down on the farm, Brian Matusz has thrown two scoreless innings for Triple-A Norfolk, allowing two hits and striking out one. He's thrown 19 pitches, 14 for strikes. Twins first baseman Justin Morneau, on an injury-rehab assignment with Rochester, grounded to second against Matusz in the first inning. Xavier Avery hit his fourth home run for Double-A Bowie. Mike Flacco has a two-run double for Single-A Frederick. The Orioles' next bullpen move could involve recently-signed Willie Eyre, who threw a scoreless inning last night in his Norfolk debut. Manager Buck Showalter told reporters today that he watched video of Eyre and came away impressed. Eyre went 4-5 with a 3.48 ERA and nine saves in 39 games at Triple-A Sacramento before exercising an opt-out clause in his contract. He's 5-6 with a 5.14 ERA in 92 major league games. Update: It's raining again, but the tarp is rolled up and the Orioles just took the field. Matusz gave up a run in the third after retiring the first two Rochester batters. A walk, Justin Morneau single and Aaron Bates double reduced Norfolk's lead to 7-1. Matusz has allowed one run and four hits, walked one and struck out two in three innings. He's thrown 49 pitches, 31 for strikes.
