SARASOTA, Fla. - Reliever Brock Huntzinger has been reassigned to minor league camp, leaving the Orioles with 49 players at the Ed Smith Stadium complex. The Orioles will make at least one more cut after the game. Huntzinger, 25, allowed one run and two hits in 3 2/3 innings, with no walks and four strikeouts in three appearances. He picked up the save against the Yankees in Tampa after striking out the side in the ninth. Manager Buck Showalter has been impressed by Huntzinger, who could be a bullpen option later this summer. "Innings weren't here anymore," said manager Buck Showalter. "Want him to stay sharp as he's been here. We're starting to lose the ability to pitch those guys, especially with us piggybacking some of the starters." Huntzinger was 3-0 with a 2.32 ERA in 25 appearances at Double-A Portland last year and 2-2 with a 1.43 ERA in 24 games at Triple-A Pawtucket. "You look at the year he had last year. He had some kind of year between two levels," Showalter said. "I was talking to him. He wasn't in camp with Boston (last spring), but he came over 15 or 20 times. He's only 25. You look at the history of him, he might be getting ready to step to another level. I was impressed with him. Good presentation, wasn't scared. Indiana high school kid. He's got a grip on it. Pretty impressed with him, especially some of the stuff he had to say today." Suk-min Yoon will return to camp on Thursday after obtaining his work visa in Ottawa, according to his interpreter, Justin Yoo. Yoon is scheduled to make his debut on Saturday. The Orioles kept Nolan Reimold here today because the Single-A team is at Twin Lakes today and Showalter didn't want the outfielder facing a low-level minor league pitcher. Reimold will face Double-A and Triple-A pitching on Thursday. "We can get the same at-bats for Nolan here today," Showalter said. "He's going to go over there tomorrow. I had a spot today with Jonesy (Adam Jones) gone." Jones is in Baltimore today for the birth of his first child. "I texted Jonesy at six," Showalter said. "They were in the room. Haven't heard from him yet." Showalter said outfielder Francisco Peguero is progressing from his wrist injury. He's still day-to-day. "Matty could play today," Showalter said. Cal Ripken Jr. is here today to sign copies of his new children's book. He will visit the clubhouse around 12:30 p.m. "I'm excited," Showalter said. "I'll pick his brain a little bit. He's so busy. We try to get him down here and much as he can. He's the type of guy that, if he isn't able to commit for a long period of time, he'd rather not. He doesn't want to just come in and out as a figurehead. He has so much to offer. Just being around him is an honor. I know our players will like having him around."
