Jones owns Liriano

Well, that might be a bit extreme, but I liked the way it sounded.
Adam Jones homered for the second consecutive night, his two-run shot in the first inning giving the Orioles a 2-0 lead.
The ball traveled an estimated 411 feet and landed in the last row of the second deck in left field.
Jones is 4-for-10 with three home runs lifetime against Francisco Liriano.
If the Orioles are looking for encouragement tonight, they're 30-14 when they score first.
Down on the farm, Steve Johnson has allowed one run in five innings at Triple-A Norfolk, and the Tides are tied with Rochester, 1-1. The run scored on Matt Carson's homer in the first.
Johnson has permitted three hits, walked one, struck out two, thrown a wild pitch and hit a batter. He's thrown 84 pitches, 53 for strikes. He's also retired seven in a row.
