O's end homestand with walk-off win

Nick Markakis' RBI single to deep center with the bases loaded in the last of the tenth, gave the Orioles a 4-3, comeback win over KC on Tuesday night. The O's ended the homestand going 4-4. With one out in the tenth, Julio Lugo singled and Corey Patterson walked. Cesar Izturis then reached on an error charged to pitcher Brian Bullington, that loaded the bases. Markakis, who began today with just three RBI over his last 15 games, then drove a pitch to deep center for a game-winning single. The O's trailed 3-0 after 4 1/2 innings but scored single runs in the 5th, 7th, 8th and 10th. The first two O's runs scored on Luke Scott homers. He hit numbers eight and nine for his eighth career multi-homer game. Scott now has hit 7 homers in 12 games in May. Patterson's 390-foot shot to right center in the 8th tied the game at 3-3. Neither starter got a decision as Kevin Millwood gave up three runs over eight innings and Zack Greinke allowed two runs over seven innings. The O's begin a road trip at Texas Wednesday night.
