O's game blog: Kevin Gausman on the mound in Game 2 against Tribe

The Orioles are 3-1 this season against the American League Central-leading Indians and 17-6 against teams from that division. They try to add to both totals tonight in the second game of the series at Camden Yards.

Mark Trumbo hit a three-run homer and Manny Machado added a solo blast in last night's 5-1 win at Oriole Park. Dylan Bundy allowed one unearned run over five innings in his second big league start.

When Boston lost last night, the Orioles move back into first place in the AL East. At 55-40, the Orioles lead Boston by a half-game and Toronto by two games. The Orioles are 34-14 at home and have won eight of their last nine games at home. They are 17-4 in their past 21 games at Camden Yards.

Cleveland (56-39) leads the AL Central by six games over Detroit and by eight over Kansas City. The Indians are 30-15 since June 1 and they are 32-23 versus teams with records of .500 or better.

In nine road starts this year, Tomlin is 6-0 with a 2.44 ERA and he's thrown eight quality starts. In six career games (five starts) against the Orioles, he is 3-2 with a 5.02 ERA. He has not faced the Orioles since Aug. 17, 2014 when he pitched 2/3 scoreless innings in relief.
