The Orioles had lost eight of their past nine home games until taking the win on Sunday.

The Orioles improved to 31-24 at home, to 9-12 this month and to 14-18 versus National League teams.
Colton Cowser's single in the third inning extended his hitting streak to nine games. That is a career high, and since the streak began on July 19 he is 12-for-33 and batting .364/.432/.606.
Cedric Mullins lined a two-run double as part of the O's six-run third inning. He has six RBIs his past two games.

New Oriole right-hander Zach Eflin (5-7, 4.09 ERA with Tampa Bay) today makes his first start for his new team. His last game was also against Toronto, last Wednesday, when he pitched against today's mound opponent in Toronto right-hander Yariel Rodríguez (1-3, 3.69 ERA).
In that game, won by Toronto 6-3, Eflin allowed six hits and two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Rodríguez gave up two runs and two hits over 5 2/3 innings.
