A-Rod: Went 0 for 12 last week vs. the Orioles. He is hitting .346 at home and .222 on the road. Teixeira: He was batting just .136 and then went 6 for 9 in his last two games vs. Chicago with a double and 3 RBI. He bats .290 vs. southpaws and .136 vs. right-handed pitching. Jeremy Guthrie gave up 6 ER over 4 2/3 last Wednesday vs. NY. In two career starts at the new Yankee Stadium, he is 0-2, 7.11. He is 3-7, 5.21 in 13 career starts vs. the Yankees. CC Sabathia pitches to an ERA of 7.20 in the first inning this year, but only 1.35 in innings two through five. In his last five starts vs. the O's, he is 5-0, 1.91 and is 10-1, 2.65 in 15 career starts vs. Baltimore. The O's did get 11 hits and three runs over 7 2/3 vs. Sabathia last week.
