Post-game Notes: Trip begins with loss at Toronto

Not Tillman time - After allowing just one run over 6 2/3 vs. Tampa in his last start, tonight, O's rookie Chris Tillman gave up four runs and six hits over five innings. Tillman falls to 2-4, 4.71 after 11 Major League starts. In two starts vs. Toronto, Tillman is 0-1, 4.63. The O's are 4-7 when he starts. The O's bullpen again served up late runs for an opponent. Tonight in three innings, the bullpen allowed seven hits and five runs (all earned). Over the last three games, the O's pen ERA is 8.25. In 12 innings, the pen has given up 21 hits, 11ER and five homers. Where's the beef - The Orioles are struggling on offense yet again. Tonight they went just 6 for 32 at bat with one extra-base hit, a double. They were 1 for 7 with runners in scoring position. Over the last six games the O's are batting .215 as a team with 15 runs and 12 extra-base hits. They have 41 hits in the six games. Over those six games they have scored 4,0,1,5,3, and 2 runs. The Orioles have scored three runs or less in 28 of 62 games since the All-Star break and are 1-27 in those contests. The O's suffered their 11th straight loss on a Monday.
