Register now for Orioles' Youth Baseball Day at Ed Smith Stadium March 23

Registration is now open for Youth Baseball Day, presented by Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT), to be held Sunday, March 23 at Ed Smith Stadium. All youth baseball teams that sign up will receive discounted tickets ($10 each) to the Orioles' 1:05 p.m. game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and may participate in a pre-game, on-field parade around the warning track. Players whose teams are not registering may still take part, but players must be in team uniform to participate in the parade. Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) is Florida's statewide youth organization that mobilizes Florida's youth to educate community members on the dangers of tobacco use, advocate for policy change, and build leadership skills among youth. The Sarasota County chapter of SWAT has 14 clubs based in community organizations, middle schools, and high schools throughout the county. The Orioles' participation in Youth Baseball Day is part of Sarasota 365, a host of initiatives through which the Baltimore Orioles and OriolesREACH demonstrate the ballclub's year-round engagement with the Greater Sarasota community.
