Reynolds and Chavez reporting to Bowie (updated)

It's been another newsy day here at Camden Yards. In non-Adam Jones developments: Third baseman Mark Reynolds and outfielder Endy Chavez are playing today at extended spring training. They're scheduled to report to Double-A Bowie and start tomorrow and Sunday before the Orioles decide whether to activate them from the disabled list. Yes, two more roster moves are on the horizon. Zach Britton is starting for the Baysox tomorrow, making Prince George's Stadium a hot spot for baseball. Yes, Dylan Bundy is starting for Single-A Frederick tomorrow, so Harry Grove Stadium also will be a popular gathering spot for fans. Brian Roberts is serving as Bowie's designated hitter tonight. He's not expected to play tomorrow. Tommy Hunter is still scheduled to start Monday in Toronto. He'll be working on six days' rest. Manager Buck Showalter explained that the Orioles optioned Luis Exposito to Triple-A Norfolk because they want him to catch every day - the same reason Ronny Paulino was sent down before being recalled today. Showalter needed an extra bullpen arm, which explains why Stu Pomeranz is here. The Orioles will go with a short bench, but not for too long if Reynolds and Chavez are close to being activated. The Orioles will know at 1 p.m. tomorrow whether Bill Hall cleared waivers. They want him back at Norfolk. Quotes to follow. Updates: Reynolds went 1-for-2 with a home run and two walks today at extended spring training. Matt Lindstrom (finger) will report to the Ed Smith Stadium complex in the next day or two. Nolan Reimold received his second epidural injection today to alleviate the discomfort caused by a herniated disk in his cervical spine. He's resting at home. Taylor Teagarden had his lower back examined by a specialist and is heading back to Sarasota to continue rehabbing. For the Royals: Jarrod Dyson CF Eric Hosmer 1B Billy Butler DH Mike Moustakas 3B Jeff Francoeur RF Alex Gordon LF Brayan Pena C Irving Falu 2B Alcides Escobar SS Bruce Chen LHP
