Should O's consider Dunn or Reynolds?

They are two sluggers and both are known for hitting a lot of home runs and also for striking out a lot. One bats left-handed and one right-handed. Could either Adam Dunn or Mark Reynolds help the O's at the DH position? Should the club pursue one of these sluggers for the stretch run? Reports say Dunn has cleared waivers meaning he could be traded after the July 31 deadline. Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com suggested the Orioles or Rangers could be interested in pursuing Dunn. Presumably any deal would require the White Sox to eat some of his big contract and Dunn is owed nearly $20 million through the end of the 2014 season. Dunn is batting .228 with 26 homers and 69 RBIs in 108 games. But in 62 games since June 1 he is batting .288 with 14 homers and 41 RBIs. His OPS was .991 in June, .858 in July and is .911 in August. Dunn doesn't hit as well against left-handed pitching, but would give the O's a big power presence to add to the middle of the lineup. Buck Showalter is not a fan of batting lefty batters back-to-back but a player like Dunn could be the perfect power hitter to bat behind and protect Chris Davis. It seems unlikely the O's would make this move, but it would be a bold stroke and add more thump to a lineup that already features plenty of that. Reynolds was designated for assignment by Cleveland and could be traded or later released by the club. In 99 games, Reynolds hit .215 with 15 homers and 48 RBIs for the Indians. Reynolds has not hit well since June 1, batting just .166 with only two homers and 67 strikeouts in 151 at-bats in that span. His OPS was .541 in June, .331 in July and .778 in August. But some O's fans remember that Reynolds hit 15 homers in the last two months of last season for the Orioles. In one torrid stretch. he hit nine homers in nine games. They'd like to see a Reynolds reunion in Baltimore. The O's said they wanted to re-sign Reynolds over their winter but their actions make it look like that was a public stance only. Could that change now and would they take a flier on a player that another contender just gave up on? What is your take? Would either Reynolds or Dunn be a good addition for the Orioles right now?
