Walk-off win: Hundley's single gives O's win over New York in 10

A walk-off win over the Yankees in front of a sellout crowd at Camden Yards. Nick Hundley's RBI single in the last of the 10th ended it tonight as the Orioles beat New York 3-2 in front of 45,389. After Dellin Betances pitched two scoreless innings, right-hander Adam Warren came on to start the 10th and Manny Machado greeted him with a double to right on a 1-0 pitch. After Ryan Flaherty struck out, Hundley lined a 2-2 pitch to center to give the O's their seventh walk-off win of the year. The Orioles improved to 9-3 in extra innings this season and to 33-12 in extra frames since 2012. Brian Roberts returned to Camden Yards tonight. There wasn't much in the way of an ovation for the former Orioles second baseman when he came up in the top of the second, but he did give the Yankees fans here something to cheer about when he homered to right on the first pitch he saw for a 1-0 lead. A solo shot by Kelly Johnson in the third made it 2-0. The O's scratched out two runs to tie it in the fourth. Steve Pearce was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, went to third on Adam Jones' infield single and scored on a Hiroki Kuroda wild pitch. Later, a sac fly by Chris Davis made it 2-2. That gave Davis 46 RBIs. Miguel Gonzalez matched his career-high by going eight innings tonight for the second start in a row. He really settled down after the early homers and retired 14 of the last 15 batters he faced. Gonzalez allowed six hits and the two runs without a walk and with five strikeouts. He threw 106 pitches. Over his last two starts, he's allowed three earned runs over 16 innings, lowering his ERA for the season is 4.04. Kuroda pitched seven innings, allowing three hits and two runs. He threw 103 pitches and now has an ERA of 1.71 over his last four starts against the Orioles. The Orioles are now 51-41 after winning for the ninth time in 11 games. They are 25-14 since May 31.
