Will Ryan Flaherty hold off Omar Quintanilla at second base?

Don't look now, but not only has Ryan Flaherty homered in back-to-back games, but he has hit three homers over his last 19 at-bats. That came after he had hit just one homer in his first 91 Orioles at-bats. This also comes at a time when some fans were becoming vocal about Flaherty and wondering why the Orioles were keeping the Rule 5 pick on the roster. Buck Showalter has said a few times this year that Flaherty could have a chance to be a big league regular later in his career. But as a Rule 5 pick, not only was Flaherty on the bench this year for the first time in his career, but when he did get a chance to play, he was trying to get hits against big league pitchers. At times, he has look overmatched. If he were still in the minors, he'd likely be at Triple-A. He does have some pop in his bat. In the minors, his career OPS was .809. Last season, in 83 Double-A games in the Southern League, Flaherty hit .305 with 14 homers, 66 RBIs and an OPS of .907. We have seen some of his potential the last two days in Cleveland. Flaherty went 7-for-49 (.143) with one homer through May 29 with the club, but since then, he is 15-for-61 (.246) with three homers and nine RBIs. Now that Omar Quintanilla is here, can Flaherty's resurgence with the bat keep him in the lineup over Quintanilla at second base for the Birds?
