Ambushing CC in the first (and third)

Did that just happen? The first five batters reached against Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia, as the Orioles bolted to a 3-0 lead. Four of them singled, including Adam Jones, who drove in two runs. Third base coach Gary Allenson aggressively sent Nick Markakis, who looked like he would be an easy out. The ball arrived in plenty of time, but catcher Jorge Posada couldn't hold onto it. Posada committed a passed ball earlier in the inning that allowed Brian Roberts to advance to second base. Where's Chad Moeller? Because I'm greedy and also leery of the offense shutting down, I hoped that four hits, a walk and a passed ball would produce more than three runs. But that's still a massive uprising against Sabathia, who's 13-1 with a 2.59 ERA lifetime against the Orioles. Sabathia, by the way, has surrendered more than three earned runs in only one of his last 18 starts. Jake Arrieta needs a 1-2-3 inning here. Make a statement. Update: Arrieta gave up a run in the bottom of the first, but Nolan Reimold just drilled a two-run shot into the second deck in left field in the top of the third. Orioles 5, Yankees 1. Reimiold entered the game 6-for-14 with two doubles lifetime against Sabathia. Good night to give him a start. Is it just me, or is Ty Wigginton suddenly playing first base like Keith Hernandez?
