A few of your favorite Nationals shared their 2010 World Series predictions with Nats Buzz over the past few days. If others trickle in later today or tonight, we'll be sure to add them here. But as of now, it's tied between the Rangers and Giants.
Collin Balester picked the National League team from his home state, while Craig Stammen and Drew Storen both picked the Rangers. Nyjer Morgan is sticking with his hometown Giants.
Balester predicts that the Giants will celebrate after only six games and Brian Wilson -- or his beard -- will be named World Series MVP. Relievers with strange facial hair experiments must stick together.
It will be a seven game series according to the two other AL-leaning pitchers.
"I want to be able to take study breaks as much as possible to watch," said Storen, who is back at Stanford for the fall semester. "I've known Tommy Hunter since I was young. We're both from Indianapolis and played summer baseball together back in the day."
That's not an MVP choice, just a good reason for Storen to root for Texas.
Stammen's sticking with the popular Cliff Lee as his MVP choice, while Morgan chose his former Pirates teammate Freddy Sanchez.
Are these guys right? How do your predictions compare?
