Strasburg is 5-0 with a 2.76 ERA in seven starts over 49 innings, the best start to a season in his career. He has struck out 58 batters and walked 12.
The Nationals have recalled outfielder Matt den Dekker from Triple-A Syracuse as the 26th man for today's doubleheader. den Dekker was hitting .158 at Syracuse and hit .194 with a homer and four RBIs in 17 games for the Nationals earlier this season.
