Urrutia having a career night (O's win 9-2)

I understand that it's a short major league career for Henry Urrutia, but his second start has been second to none. Urrutia is 3-for-3 tonight, with all of his singles going to left field. He's 4-for-8 in three games since the Orioles selected his contract from Triple-A Norfolk. My math skills are poor, but that's a .500 average. His baserunning needs work, as advertised, but he's a designated hitter who's getting on base. The Orioles will take it. Chris Davis doubled in the sixth to drive in two runs and increase his season RBI total to 97. J.J. Hardy hit his 17th home run, a two-run shot, to increase the Orioles' lead to 9-2. Hardy has 150 career home runs. Six Orioles are having multi-hit nights. Update II: The Orioles extended their winning streak to a season-high five games with tonight's 9-2 victory over the Royals. The Orioles (57-43) are 14 games above .500 and 2 1/2 behind the Red Sox in the AL East. Feldman allowed two runs in eight innings for the Orioles' eighth quality start in their last nine games. This is the first time in 2013 that they've had back-to-back starters go eight innings. Urrutia, Hardy and Nick Markakis each had three hits as part of the Orioles' 18-hit attack. McLouth reached base five times with a single triple and three walks. Machado was 0-for-6 and stranded eight runners. He didn't get the memo.
