Valencia at DH, Markakis batting seventh

BOSTON - Danny Valencia will serve as the designated hitter for the Orioles tonight against Red Sox left-hander Jon Lester. Valencia will bat eighth, one spot after right fielder Nick Markakis, who is hitting seventh.
